Kate Pittas is a Brisbane based artist who paints contemporary Australian landscapes. She often draws on past travels & experiences throughout Australia to create landscapes with a sense of nostalgia & romanticism. Kate has a lifelong love affair with colour & believes it is her superpower. She uses lashings of it in all her work to create evocative & highly expressive pieces.

After studying Fine Arts & teaching as an Art Teacher for nearly 10 years, Kate decided to take the plunge & follow her dreams 3 years ago & now paints full time.
